Department of State, were reviewed by a Special Avent of the FBI and disclosea the following information: HOWARD ZINN war issued passport #F285869, at Boston, Magsachusetts on April 26, 19585 for proposed one year travel to Germany, France, Italy, England, Yugoslavia, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Greece, Switzerland and Spain to reach in a BU program. In his application dated April 22, 1965, at Boston, ZINN stated he intended to depart from an unnamed port via air about sugust 1, 1965, not by organized tour. He stated that he expecced to take another trip abroad within five years. This passport was valid for three years travel to all countries except Albania, Cuba and those portions of China, Korea and Vietnam under communist control.
