Qu adiinistration telis us that they w ant peace; yet we cannot understand how one can have peace when a nation proposes to draft young men, hes the highest war budget of any nation in the world, breaks its solem word before the United Nationa as in the ease of Palestine, and ita press and radio constently beat the drum for war, This contradiction betwoon the desires of the dmerican people and the actions of the Truman administration has clearly shown us thst bers Truman administration has departed fron the Roosevelt policy of peace and friend- Bhipe f e A : Instead of the prosperity we had hoped for, we find millions in the world starv- ing, end at home soaring prioss which almost bring the very necessities of life out | of reach of the average young porsais pe | // “Instead of the opparturity we had hoped for, we find every doar closed to = / millions of young citizens because of the color of their skins or their religtont.
