HOW TO BUILD FA IACE -FOR-PRESIDENT CLUBS IN RAILROAD YARDS SHOPS, ROUNDHOUSES, FREIGHT AND PASSENGER STATIONS rearrange nena et BOSE NGER STATIONS Purpose sThe purpose of a Wa llace-for-President Club is to organize a political action committee among the railroad workers at each point to insure a pro- gressive victory at the polls in November. - pry PP hed an, Ire bre SMe ba, Membership: Membership in the Wallace clubs should inolude workers of all railroad erates at each point, regardless of political affiliation, race, oreed or color, who support the progressive program as set forth in the Milwaukee Com- mittee folder. Officers and committees: Club officers should consist of a chairman, a seoretary~ reasurer, 4h organizing committees composed of representatives of all raile road crafts and departments, and suoh other committees as are deemed necess~ arye , Activities of local clubs; ana na S, 1. To establish a Wallace-for-President campaign fund in all yards and shops to help defray expenses of the Wallace campaign on the railroads; for the purohase of the NEVER AGAIN folder, Wallace's Labor Speech, campaign but= tons, membership cards and other campaign material. This campaign fund should be established through a $1.00 voluntary contribution collected from members upon joining the club. There will be no regular dues or monthe ly assessments. Local treasurers should provide themselves with a duplicate reoeipt book and keap proper record of campaign fund receipts and expendi«~ tures, to be reported at olub meetings and for regular audit fron time to time by @ committee elected for that purposes No officers will be compen- sated from the local olub treasury for any work done in this organization. Campaign fund contributions of $1.00 will be alloted as follows: 50¢ to remain in the local olub treasury for local campaign purposes, and 50¢ to be remitted to the Chicago Railwayments Wallace-for-President Committee for promotional and general campaign expenses. 2. To enroll all progressive railroad workers as members of the local Wallace~ or-President olube 5.
