believed to be GERD, mUHART, previously referred to in this investigation,
were observed leaving the EISLER residence in the EISLER automobile. This
party went cirectly to the Los Angeles Municipal Airport, where EITSLU4
boarded his plane at 5:55 pem. ,
By teletype dated Jamary 27, 1948, New York advised that Imnircra~
tion authorities in New York City stated that the Subject's deportation
hearing had been transferred to New York City and was to be held some tire

the New York Office advised by copy of a teletype sent to the Bureau dated
February 4, 1948, that EISLER had indicated his willingness to execute a
stipula tion admitting his C’ membership for the purpose of expediting
deportation proceedings.

On February 10, 1948, furnished the information that
LWISt BISLEH and her husband had reservations to leave New York for Rome,

had visited the EISLER resi-
dence on ‘February 12, 1945, an g Mrs. EISLER at home, had left a

also said that F. (undoubtedly referring to FEUCHTWANGER) wanted to see her
before she left for New York and that the following Saturday afternoon would
be the best svailable day.
A surveillance of the FEUCHTWANGER residence on the afternoon of
Saturday, February 14, 1945, failed to disclose that Urs. Ei\SLSn arrived to
keep her appointment.
