Jt was further stated that a highly _ confidential source had reported that the subject's attorney had informed ancther individual that the eubject wonld undoubtedly go to Paris in the immediate future but he (the attorney) did not know the time nor means that would be used. The reference teletype commented that the subject's attorney had probabiy informed him that the pressnt Congressional subpoena requiring his presence on September 23, 1947, was not sufficient to prevent his leaving the country, It was also stated that the Immipration and Naturalization Service had placed etops with all Immigration officers but such stops did not cover subject's entrance into Canada.
