However, therafs being set forth herewith certain pertinent parts cf articles which appeared in the New York news- papers relative to HANNS EISIZR aniwhich did not appear to be fram a press service. In an article dated October 15, 1946 in the "New York World Telegram", it was stated that GERHART EISLER was the brother of HANNS "noted exiled German composer who writes mesic for the movies in Hollywood. In 1940 the composer received a $20,000 experimental grant from the Rockefeller Foundation to score sound tracks in his own style of misic.
