Jordan, after having heard of her, on September 18, 1975. My knowledge of her as an attorney stemmed from her handling of the case of U.S. v. Marilyn Buck in San Francisco in 1973 and her subsequent work representing Defendants subpoenaed to appear before the Federal Grand Jury. My initial meeting with Susan Jordan as an attorney was at my behest and based upon her widely known reputation as a feminist criminal defense attorney. Since September 18, 1975, I have consulted with Susan Jordan on numerous occasions (too numerous, in fact, ‘to list) regarding both the question of appro- priate representation for me in Los Angeles on charges pending there and the facts (of this case. ‘During the pendency of charges | against me in Los Angeles ‘County, 1 I also’ consulted with, her on | many occasions ‘for specific legal advice regarding the handling of the defense in Los Angeles | in my case. legit oe cee | With respect to the question of counsel in ‘the Los Angeles trial, Ms. Jordan worked closely with me for at least two months in my effort. to obtain a woman lawyer. Before that, Ms. Jordan introduced my co- Defendant, Willian Harris, and me to Leonard Weinglass, attorney at law. Ms. Jordan was instrumental in Mr. Weinglass' involvement in the case. From the ‘time that the complaint against me was ‘first filed in “the Berkeley- Albany Municipal Court on April 14, "1976 with respect to these charges, - Ms. Jordan undertook consultation with me on a regular basis -
