The general purpose and powers of this corporation is to exer- cise all rights and powers conferred on nonprofit corporations under the laws of the State of California and the Fedcral Government. ! 2. Concerned Citizens for Social Development (C.C.S.D.) has been formed to educate poor people as to what can be done to better our own lot. We are striving to encourage people through knowledge, to come with us to the political arena, rather than go to the callous world of rioting and looting. We plan to inform the people in the ghetto of. who their political repre- oe pent ateyae are in their particular districts, and to provide them witH the necessary information and knowledce for corresp- : onding purposes, at national, state, and local levels. Our purpose is to further educate poor minorities on how petitions should be filed, and the procedures fon getting propositions, that best benefit the poor placed on the voting ballot. We wish to .teach other proverty strickened people how certain proposed propositions, amendments, and laws will effect them as poor people.
