Fugitive Investigations
During Fiscal 1975, 32,403 FBI fugitives
were located. Those apprehended included bank
robbers, Kidnapers, and deserters, as well as
felons wanted by local authorities. Some 3,583
were sought at the specific request of state and
local authorities for fleeing across state lines in
violation of the Fugitive Felon Act.
