This convention had 125 sheriffs and deputy sheriffs in attendance from 78 counties of Nebraska, The Hearnap case was discussed by an Agent of the Omaha Division at the convention for 35 minutes, Wanted Flyer 475A as well as FBI Police Bulletin, Volume II, Number 8, dated 10/4/74, were furnished to each officer in attendance, Sheriffs having campsites along Interstate 80 took extra copies of Wanted Flyer 475A and they were going to discuss the Hearnap case with campsite managers and place Wanted Flyer 475A on bulletin boards at said campsites, Sheriffs from throughout the state also took extra copies . of Wanted Flyer 475A for each and every deputy and civilian ; employees in their offices. Wanted Flyers have been distributed to day labor and temporary employment offices in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, and Davenport, Iowa, as well as Lincoln, Nebraska, PLANS FOR INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITY OMAHA DIVISION i Continued efforts will be made to distribute | Wanted Flyers to other outlets in Iowa and Nebraska, This case will also be discussed at the conventian of the Iowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association in Des Moines, Iowa. {_ _ | | |
