During the month of October, 1974, ASAC O'CONNELL _tonducted five speeches, one television appearance and one radio interview wherein the HEARST case was mentioned prominently. SAC REED conducted three speeches wherein ' the HEARST case was mentioned, Criminal and extremist informants have been contacted and requested to furnish any information that would be of value to Heamap. Numerous look-alikes have been reported to the Sacramento Office and these persons have been identified and eliminated as suspects or the fugitives, Sacramento will continue to conduct investigation Of look-alikes as they are reported and, in addition, will continue contacts with informants, etc, ° ARMED AND DANGEROUS. ~2-
