Dato of transcription ae CHARLES MATTUEWS, 10871 Eim Street, Lynwood, California, teléphone number 635-5526, was interviewed at the Lynwood Police Department, 11330 Bullis Road, . - Lynwood, California, and furnished the following information: On May 16, 1974, he was at his residence with his two sons, THOMAS and ROBERT and they all had supper torether. At approximately 7:00 PM he observed an unknown white female looking at THOMAS' van that was parked on the street in front of the residence. The female started walkine toward the front door of the residence and he called to THOMAS to meet the girl at the door. THOMAS met the girl at the door and they both walked out to the van. - No further actions were observed. . As his son THOMAS did not return to his residence on the night of May 16, 1974, he proceeded to the Lynwood Police Department to file a Missing Persons Report on the morning of May 17, 1974. ‘ A photograph spread of eighteen photographs was displayed to MATTHEWS with no identification effected. He described the girl as a white female, between 20 to 30 years of age. He stated he paid little attention to her and therefore could provide no further descriptive information.
