7 At this time, a yellow Pontiac, which had been driving |
in an easterly direction along 115th Street, stalled in the © _
middle of the street in front of PATIN's driveway. PATIN saw a-
white. female in the driver's seat, apparently turning the ig- ~
nition in an attempt to get the car started, After an attempt |
to get the car started for about one to one and a half minutes, ©
a white male jumped out of the front passenger side of the car.
and ran towards PATIN and his father. When the white male was
' ten to twelve feet away from them, PATIN, JR., noticed the man
was carrying.a weapon tucked under his right arm. PATIN de-
'- seribed the gun as having a carbine stock, about twentyfour to
thirty inches total Length, and.flat-black colored barrel.
PATIN, JR., additionally described it as being new in appearance.
The male continued coming toward PATIN and his father, —
and said to the effect, "We're from the SLA and we need a car,
We need this car, Give me the key". PATIN, SR., fumbled with . |
the keys in his hand and finally handed the car keys to the man.
As PATIN, SR,, was doing this, the man was motioning for the
other occupants of the Pontiac to come out of the car. At this
- point, PATIN, JR., noted the Pontiae.contained two white females,
_, both of whom approached the PATINs, both carrying the same kind
.a@f weapon as the male. He noticed the female from the passenger -
