' approximately 4:00 p.m,, he was working alone in the laundro~ .. -. . mat when he heard gunshots outside in the street. He stated - “.. 46% sounded to him like machine gun fire. When the firing began - he immediately fell to the floor and took cover and after the firing stopped he looked out. the laundromat's front window and observed a white male jump into a white over red "new looking" van, which was parked across Crenshaw Boulevard in the shopping _ center parking lot. He stated that this incident happened so quickly that he did not get a very good look at the individual who jumped into the van and could furnish no further description. ov. Ae advised that he believes the van bore a paper license plate.
