Résult of examination:
Brown head hairs of Caucasian origin were recovered .
from the vacuum sweepings, specimens 91056, 91057, Q1065, 01066
and 01067. A dark brown head hair of Negroid origin was found
in 01056 and one was found in Q1065. Black head hairs which
exhibit Mongoloid characteristics were found in QLOE6 and 91067.
Black hairs and white hairs of dog origin were recovered from
all the vacuum sweepings. Also, fibers of various types and
colors are present in all the vacuum sweepings.
Specimen Q1071 is a brown Caucasian head hair.
Specimen 91072 is a piece of blue sewing thread 3 1/2"
long composed of blue synthetic filaments.
Specimen Q1068 consists of a stem and leaves, and
specimens Q1069 and Q1075 consist of leaves all of the coast
live oak. The coast live oak is found on valley floors, rocky
hills and canyon walls of the Coast Ranges for most of the
length of California. Specimen 01074 consists of two pine
needle fregments too limited for further identification.
Specimens Q1059 and 01070 consist of insects and
insect parts including flies, moths, wasps and bees. All of the
insects represented by these two specimens are of widespread
distributior.
Specimen 01073 consists of two small white and green
pebbles which have some asphalt covering their surfaces. It
is likely that these pebbles came from an asphalt pavement.
These pebbles are of limited comparison value.
Specimen Q1063 is a white tissue paper having some.
very small sized black particles adhering. These particles
are too limited in size and quantity for an adequate soil
analysis.
The 01058 piece of kLlacx material was founc to
have the word "Ferd" printed on one side of the specimen,
indicuting the specimen was probably ¢ part of upholstery or
decorative material common to the vehicle.
. The 01063 red material was found to be a red Wex,
goch as candle wax; hovever, the wan could not be asscciated
th a particular scurce.
