They indicated that they each had college degrees but furnished no information concerning their educational background. He recalled that his efforts to contact the aforementioned credit reference had been unsuccessful and he recalled that the girls had indicated that this person was in charge of the counseling group in which they were employed. He noted that they had paid in cash for their rent. advised that on about October 1, 1973, an unidentified woman visited his residence and left an enve- lope containing a letter which read as follows: . _ “October 1st/1973 "Dear Mr. & Mrs. QQ "This is to give you one months notice on Apt. ie mri My mothers condition is much worse, ~ iwi ve to be in vancouyer for an indefinate time taking care of her. Gmn.:.; ; decided she vould _Tather find a smaller place and that it would be better all around if our occupancy were ended. Since we paid first & last month, i assume all debts Po) ou are taken care of.
