FD.302 {REV_ 1-27-79) a ° ‘on es . : @ . ce FEDER. -iNEAU OF INVESNGATION Dote of wonseription May 30, 1974 OS an 1608 Oakdale Avenue, San Francisco, is a flat located in the Bayview section of San Francisco and is part of a building the exact age of which is not known but which is quite old. The flat, which is entered at the street level off of Oakdale Avenue, runs in a north-south direction and is in the middle area of the building. The flat has a series of windows across the front room and entry is made through a wooden door with a peep hole located on the west side of the flat. This door on May 20, 1974, was secured with a key lock, two chain locks, and two bolt locks. The flat also has a rear exit off an enclosed porch arca and at the rear the flat, because of the terrain on which it is built, is one story above ground level. The flat exits onto a flight of wooden stairs which afford exit into a courtyard below. ; As one enters 1808 Oakdale Avenue an individual is in a long hallway with a door at the north end. Also off this hallway are two other doors which afford entry into the front bedroom and a second bedroom. At the north end of the hallway is a third large bedroom off of which are closets. In the rear is the kitchen area with a refrigerator, Stove, and sink. Located adjoining the kitchen on the east is the bathroom which appears to have been modeled into the flat after it was originally constructed. The flat which has very high ceilings was not observed to have any central heating and as of May 20, 1974, the premises were poorly furnished with no accomodations other than mattresses or pads lying on the floor.
