JACK SCOTT and BILL WALTON returned tc WMETON's residence in Portland sometime prior to WEINER'S -™» departure on January 2 or 3, 1975. At this time, JACK SCOTT told WEINER that "they" had been in a van with JACK SCOTT traveling west when the van was stopped for speeding by a State Trooper in either Iowa or Indiana. JACK SCOTT told WEINER that he talked the State Trooper out of giving him a speeding ticket by joking about a Big Ten Football Game that day between Iowa and Indiana. WEINER recalled that Iowa and Indiana were the two football teams JACK SCOTT referred to at this time, and he definitely recalled that the names of the two teains began with the letter "I", there, but MICKI told WEINER that JACK SCOTY was in seh CRT a 2 ON ox Also at this time, JACK SCOTT told WEINER to give WILLY BRANDT about five or six coded messages from JACK SCOTT, WEINER had told SCOTT that he planned to visit WILLY BRANDT §"~ « in the Soledad, California Prison on January 4 and 5, 1975. : WEINER could only recall two of the five or six messages that JACK SCOTT asked him to transmit to WILLY BRANDI. One message ‘ was "the team. has moved west" and the other message he recalled was "Emma is not with them anymore”, WEINER stated EMMA re- ferred to WENDY, WILLY's girl friend. The persons at the WALTON residence from December 27, 1974, to January 2 or 3, 1975, were: MBILI. WALTON, JACK SCOTT, MICKI SCOTT, JAY WEINER, SUSAN GUTH, KATE WATSON, and DON CLNUS, -white male. ° im January 2 or 3, 1975, WEINER and WATSON departed Portland in WEINER’s car and traveled to San Francisco, California, where WEINER dropped WATSON off at the home of some of her friends. WEINER alone drove to Soledad Prison in Celifornia and visited WILLY BRANDT on both January 4 and January 5, 1975. WEINER gave BRANDT the five or six messages which JACK SCOTT asked him to relate to BRANDT.
