Legal Coun. ; , Directo Sec’y At 6:37 p.m., 4/4/74, SAC Tom Jordan, Houston pee office, telephonically advised Night Supervisor Lee that | at 3:41 p.m., (Central Daylight Time) 4/4/74, Radio Station KTRH, Houston, received a long distance phone call from an unknown subject who claimed to be with the SLA. This. unknown subject, in essence, told the radio station that ‘they would be in receipt of a letter and tape which would indicate the identities of the enemies of the people in Texas, Oklahoma’ and Michigan who are to be shot. The enemies were indicated as Government officials. SAC Jordan advised he had a copy of the tape recording of this conversation between unknown subject and Radio Station KTRH. This recording was subsequently, re- 75 corded on the tape recorder in the General Investigative - fe Division and can be heard in the areas,of the tape numbered 149 ~ 165, SAC Jordan stated that he advised SAC Bates in San Francisco of receipt of this tape and was also furnishing him a copy of same to determine if the unknown subject could’ be identified from previous recordings. SA Lee suggested to SAC Jordan that he immediately advise appropriate state authorities in Texas and that a teletype be sent to Oklahoma City and Detroit for those offices to also contact and advise - state authorities within those divisions of the threats con- ‘tained in this call from unknown subject to Radio Station | ACTION: For information. ,4 advised cn KTRH in Houston.
