Upon reflecting back upon the ' aincident, BENENSON had the impression that something went wrong with a car the above individuals had originally intended to use, and that they kidnapped BENENSON on the Spur of the moment because they needed a car with a large trunk quickly. oy . After BENENSON had been forced into the back seat - of the car, the second female who had opened the car door climbed into the front seat of the car while the female who nad first accosted him entered the rear seat of the car behind BENENSON. The latter female started tying BENENSON's nands behind him. As soon.as she started tying his hands somcone in the front seat, probably the girl who had just opened the door and climbed into the front seat, began tying a blindfold aroundc his eyes and a gag around his mouth. BENENSON did not recall whether the blindfold or gag was applied first by the person in the front seat. BENENSON did not get a good look at the person in the front seat © as he was looking down most of the time while the person was attempting to gag and blindfold him. BENENSON resisted the efforts to bind, blindfold and gag him. The person in the front seat was told to hit BENENSON and that individual did hit him over the head approximately two times, apparently with the same blunt object that was used previously. Eventually, BONENSON's wrists werg tied. and the blindfold and gag were also tied into place. BENENSON stated that his wrists were tied securely, although he does not recall them hurting a great deal. He recalled someone tell him, probably the female wao tied his hands, something to the effact, "Don't worry, you'll be able to get out of this in about ten minutes". BINEWSON was aware that another person, possibly a male, entered the front seat on the driver's side and another individual, he believed to be a male, approached the car on _. the passenger side. The female in the back seat instructed the latter individual, "I want you in the back with me”. -‘This individual did enter the rear seat from the passenger _ Side. . - S - thee by, ' 34 . Fr ate .
