In addition to latent fingerprint examinations of above cassette tape, the Laboratory is requested to conduct thorough examination of the contents of the cassette tape for possible identification of voice, background noise, and any other logical examination. Copies are to be made of this tape (Item 1) and forwarded to the San Francisco Office. The original tape should be returned to the San Francisco Office upon completion of appropriate examination in order that it can be used for evidentiary purposes. In addition to latent fingerprint examination the above letter (Item 2) should be afforded examination for typewriter and paper watermark identification. The Laboratory is also requested to conduct any other appropriate logical examination regarding this letter. This letter should also be compared with other letters previously submitted in this matter. This letter should be returned to the San Francisco Office upon completion of examination for evidentiary purposes. .
