Robbers, who were in the bank about two minutes, after firing additional Shots outside the bank, slightly wounding a witness, fled bank in a’ rental vehicle recovered ten blocks away. During robbery, a backup, or cover car, | a rental vehicle, reportedly occupied by four white males with rifle, waited across the street from the bank and trailed the escape vehicle from the bank robbery scene. Thig backup unit abandoned same Beneral area as getaway car. Suspected Switch cars are two additfonal rental vehicles abandoned in underground garage approximately five miles from the area — of the bank 30 minutes after the robbery. No information developed as to further direction or means of escape. The four rental vehicles obtained at downtown San Franc isco car.agencies by, person (s)- using stolen identification of TUANET M. COOPER, during the period 4/11 - 14/74.
