There is attached for approval and for forwarding to the Mechanical Section for printing a proposed circular letter for use by the field as a supplement to the Wanted Flyers which are being issued in an effort to generate possible leads. . The San Francisco Office has requested preparation of a circular letter containing photographs of all five.of the individuals identified as participants in the April 15, 1974, Sank Yobbery, including that of Patricia Hearst, for widespread Mistribution to such places as sporting goods stores (guns and ammunition) ,: real estate firms, new and used automobile and truck dealers, car rental and leasing companies, and the like on the possibility that any of the individuals may appear at such places in the itmmediate future. Along with the photographs will appear a statement, congerning t abduction of Patricia Hearst, the bank robbery, the warrants iss on the participants, including the material witness warrant on Patricia Hearst, and a request that anyone having information concerning -these individuals contact their local FBI office. \ “ The San Francisco Office has been advised by the Detroit Office that the R. L. Polk Company, Detroit, is able to circularize the above business establishments for the entire State of California at a cost of $939.29. This mailing by the Polk Company can be made within 48 hours after they receive the circulars. San Francisco has subséquentiy advised that additional circulars will be needed as more avenues of circularization become _ apparent.
