This automobile is equipped with electronic devices for monitoring and transmission of conversations between the source and the individuals he contacts. In addition, the vehicle has been equipped with electronic aids to assist in surveillance. Under the emergency authority granted this Bureau, our San Francisco Office was authorized on April 9, 1974, to make this automobile available to the source, equipped as indicated above, as well as. authority to equip the source with on-body recording and transmitting devices.
