Details: - (0) Writer conducted two (2) assignments at GTMO, Cuba in a FBIi/Interrogator capacity. The first tour commenced on 04/30/2002 and ended 65/30/2002. The second tour commenced on 07/17/2002 and ended 08/17/2002. , Fay At the time, writer was a New York City Police Department (NYCPD} Detective assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTEF) within the FBI/New York Office, Squad I-44. {0} During the periods noted above, writer interrogated a great many of the detainees at GTMO. These iriterrogations were conducted jointly with US military intelligence officers. At no time did writer observe or was personally involved with any aggressive treatment of the detainees and in fact ‘the opposite was noted. A few cf the detainees directed certain concerns to the interrogators, i.e. minor medical issues, food complaints and some wanted to be moved closer to others. that spoke the same language.
