ole Sabject HALL named one THOMAS JOHN MARSH as an accomplice in
‘instant case. On October 9, 1953, the Bureau advised-all offices that
a UFap - ‘Rurder compiaint was filed in Kansas City Western District of
Missouri before United States Commissioner CHARLES H, THOMPSON. Purpose
of sane was to locate and interview MARSH relative to HALL‘S statement
implicating MARSH.
At 1:50 a.w., October 12, 1953, HALL admitted during an inter-
view that MARSH had no connection with instant case. On October 12, 1953,
the Bureau advised by teletype to discontinue all investigation immediately
regarding THOMAS JOHN MARSH,
