MEXORANDUM FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
cai This Bureau is presently investigating a number of current bank robbery
burglary cases which have been committed in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky. cs
and Tllinois during the last year. In each of these burglaries a substantia]__—__—-—-=
amount of currency wes obtained and in two of the burglaries over $100,000 in War.
Savines Bonds was taken from safe deposit boxes which were broken into by the
perpetrators. Investigation has indicated that the participants in each of these ©
burglaries are experienced and professional safe crackers.
<n Information has been developed by this Rureau to the effect that George :
