He advised that at that time one of the correctional officers, a JOHN MILLS, was slain by inmates who were incarcerated in the YeWing. : recalled that immediately after MILLS was slain all inmates were SIC : locked in their cells as a security measure for approximately a : month:and a half, @@MMalso advised that he recalled that in approximately March or early April, 1970, a form was distributed to all inmates of the Y=-Wing. This form requested the inmates to answer either yes or no as to their desires of being inter- viewed by the attorneys representing the persons. accused of slaying MILLS.
