The - approximate diameter of the wire including the Ansulation is 0.071". Pieces of single conductor stranded. copper wire with white . plaeticlike insulation 4s present in Q6l and Q62. The approximate dismeter of the wire including insulation is 0.109". The following printed informsetion {s present on the 961 piece of wire: "CAROL 18 AWG 6007 TULL HTW OR AWM ---* TAPE Pleces of bisck, $/4" wide, electrical tape are contained on specimens 060 through Q638, Q69, Q71l and Q77. Specimens Q60, Q68, Q70 and Q73 through Q77 contzin pieces of 2“ wide gray duct tape. A 1" wide piece cf beige masking tape was conteined in specimen 961. The electrical tape, the duct tape, and the masking tspe are suitable for comparison purposes should rolls of similar suspect tape become availoble. No tape wag contained on specimens Q64 through 967 and Q78. MISCELLANEOUS The glue end solder used in the construction of the IED and present in Q61, Q62, and 969 are suitable for comparison purposes in the event suspect glue and solder is located. TOOLMARKS Impressions typ{cal of those produced by the gripping jaws of some pipe threading machine having four gripping jaws sre present in Q67. The faw width represented is 2", Toolmarks of value for {identification purposes are present in one of the impressions. No other toolmarks of value for identification purposes were observed in the submitted specimens.
