The C stated ati}his client, Frank Sinatra, received a threatening letter overy the U. S. mail. The C states that the letter is post marked Dec. 9, 1989 and that the letter was turned over to him by Mr. Sinatra on Dec. 16, 1980. He states the letter consists of two pieces of paper and reads as follows. FIRST PIECE OF PAPER: Your fate is sealed. Stay away from Washington, D. C. Tragedy shall befall you. You'll never be Ambassador to Italy. Winter of darkness. Subject's Description Facts of complaint SECOND PIECE OF PAPER: Sin - Your fate is sealed. Decided you are evil. Witchcraft and evil sprits. The C states that the letter was received at Mr. Sinatra's Palm Spring address; 70588 Frank Sinatra Drive, Palm Springs. The C stated that he feels the letter is a prank, however, Mr. Sinatra is very anxious to report it to the FBI and have something done about it. He states he is also reporting the threat to the police department. He requested he be recontacted by the case agent with results of the investigation as soon as possible.
