MERE voluntoored no information and answered all questions tersely with no elaboration. He -advised that it was not hotel policy to make records available to law enforcement agencies in the abscence of a subpoena. He stated however that if the FBI -- wished to determine if GIANCANA was staying at the hotel and he was contacted personally he would confirm whether or not GIANCANA was registered.
