This letter {~ss was recently obtained from the Bomb Squad of the New York Police Departe ment, which is retaining the original letter in its files, : There are also enclosed three specimens of handwriting ~ believed to be that of a John Rogers residing at Bellemore, Long Island who is suspected of writing the letters involved in this case. These include a Christmas card and a letter addressed to Robert Martin, Vice President of the Citizens! Savings | Banks of New tork, nopers' purpose in the laboratory examinations. The third handwriting specimen is a photostatic card, copy of a Change of Address Card, the original of which is on file at a New York City branch post office. In a review. of ‘the New York file on this case, it has been noted that communications from the Bureau bear Bureau file numbers 100-6033, 62-55640, 62-59486 and 9-7088.
