5 7C On December 7, 190 i -: the Defense
Unit transmitted a let cal Laboratory
with the request that the handwriting appearing on the
letter be searched through the file containing espionage
handwritings. The questioned letter was addressed to
President Roosevelt and contained a suggestion for more
speed for defense, and no aid to England. This evidence
is listed in the laboratory's files as follows: .
