WILLIAM RUSSELL MATIX, ET AL
High School at Yuma, Arizona, in 1972. He was an accomplished
athlete in the games of football, basketball and baseball.
Immediately after graduation PLATT joined the United States Arny,
taking his basic training at Fort Ord, California.
While in Army basic training, PLATT applied for U.S.
Army Airborne Ranger Training, and subsequently entered
Paratrooper Air Assault ol at Fo eli
Wie §=3On Completion of jump school, PLATT was assigned to
the Military Police Unit at that facility, and it was in this
auty assignment that he met, and served in the same unit with
WILLIAM RUSSELL MATIX. PLATT also met his first wife, REGINA
LYLEN while stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and they were
married on October 31, 1975. - '
When PLATT went to Korea in 1977, his wife REGINA
remained stateside while he served approximately one year at Cam
Kittyhawk, three miles south of the 38th paralle]. —__no

MATIX moved to Miami, Florida, in the summer of 1984, he bought
into this lawn maintenance venture with and MICHAEL, and
worked directly with MICHAEL until he (MATIX) quit in May, 1985.
MICHAEL PLATT's wife REGINA also worked at Blade Cutters as a
bookkeeper.
