Milam drove to Miniter City, to his brother-in-law’s (Melvin Campbell’s) store, where he worked until 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, August 28, 1955, Milam then left and went home to Glendora, Mississippi. e After retuming home to Glendora, Milam decided not to go to bed. Instead, he filled his truck up with gasoline and went to Money, Mississippi. ¢ Milam arrived in Money, Mississippi about 2:00 a.m. and found Roy and Carolyn Bryant asleep.
