Result ef Examination: The typewriting appearing on specimen Q1 corresponds to a pica style of type available on IBM, SCM, and Remington typewriters, having a horisontal spacing of ten characters to the inch. This typewriter is equipped with typebars, as apposed to a printwheel or a single element. without an authentic forn similar to specimen 01, 4t cannot be determined whether Q1 is an authentic car invoice. However, some printing characteristics were noted which are associated with producing fraudulent documents by the offset printing process.
