nied Reference is made to the current investigation being ccn-
ducted by the New York field office concerning the above captioned in-
dividual.
This is to advise that on Saturday, March 3ist, 1945 tnere
appeared in thedfiiews Day", newspaper.pubdlication at Hempstead, Long
Island, Net York a photograph of OLGA’ KHLOPKOVA, accompanying a news article
which stated that she, as a member of the stafr of the Consulate of the
U.S.S.R.e in Nev York, would be featured as a peaker at the Secona Annual
Wonan's Forum to be held in Cathedral House, Hempstead, on April 16, 1945.
The article continued that Mrs. KHLOPKOVA, born in Moscor, a graduate of
the Literary Institute in Noscow, and formerly. employed in the pebLishing
house in that commnity, md whose husband, as a member of a tank <ivision
is now on active duty at the 1ront with the Red Army, was active in the
defense of Moscov during the seige, was a member oi the A.R.P., mia took
part in other defense and war duties, prior to her ccming to othe United Lio)
States in December, 1943. .
Another speaker at that meéting will be Du AES, re-
pertedly one of the foremost young Chinese lanyers nov in cna country,
who tormerly was associated with the J. PURDORTRIGHT LAY OrFicES in
Baltimore, Uaryland, and whose topic will be "If I naa 2 Voice in tne
Peace rroceedings" .
