CHARLES G. BOLTE, the principel sactor in directing the activi-
ties of the orgenization, wae born in New York on 19 Januery 1920 and
leter moved to Greenwich,’ Connecticut. From June, 1935, to'Septenher,
1937. he worked ms a reporter for the Greenwich prees there. He then
extered Dartuouth Col lege, gredurting in June, 1541, with an a. B. de-
gree, magna cum laude. The following month he entered the EPritis: army

At El Alamein, on 27 October 1942, B BOITE was wounded, svveequently loet
