mittee, its work and its purpose. He said that MR, STRUT had been invited to
- attend the meeting in order to aid the committee in answering the charge made by
the jttorney General that the committee was 'subversive!. MR. BALOKOVIC then read

"WR. NISSULSCN said that there were two points to be coisidered, Pirst,
what dmmediate action to take, and secondly, whether there was any legal recourse
open to the committee.
He suggested the following action be taken, To seni letters to all the
Board of Direetors, Sponsors and State Senators, a letter to the Treasury Depart-
ment informing thom that the Bureau of Internal Revenue had examined the books in
Fetruary and found nothing irregular and that they so informed the attornéy Gen-
; eral, Write to the advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign aic asking if they
_ have ever found anything irregular in the activities of the committee. Invite the
, public and the newspapers,

adjition, that they be asked to join with the directors in asking the Attorney Gen-—
2 eral to send a celegation to explain the why and wherefore of this attack. The
