Reference is made to Bureau letter dated June 11, 1947
this office furnish the source of the information contained
from this office to the Bureau dated January 20, 1947.
Please be advised a letterhead of the WOMEN'S ACTION COMMITTER FOR
LASTING PEACE, received by the New York Office on October 21, 1948, re-
flected the name of Mra. NORMAN deR.\ WHITEHOUSE as the National President
of thie organization. Letterheads off this organization received by the
Rew York Office during the year 1945 showed Mrs. WHITEHOUSE was then the
Wational Chairman of this organization. It is noted also that the
“albuquerque Tribune*™, an Albuquerque, New Mexico, newspaper, carried an
item on October 9, 1946, stating Mre. NORMAN WHITEHOUSE was National
President of the WOMEN'S ACTION CGMMITTEE FOR ‘LASTING PEACE.
