APPENDIX UNITED CHINA RELIEF In June, 1947, QS pees that the "“ynited Service to China, Incorporated,” formerly known as "United Chime Relief, Incorporated", had been infiltrated by the Communists. In 1949, this source was recontacted and advised thet the dove information was obtained from persons intimately familiar with the internal effairs of this organization. These persons reported "that two of the coordinating agencies within the frame- work of the above organizations have been identified es Communist dominated organizations". This source advised that these persons requested their identify not be disclosed. He said, however, that all are prominent persons and are of known reliability. - 16 -
