He stated this group was somewhat started in thie venture by a representative of an organization known as the "Fellowship of Reconciliation" which representative came from California. He stated this group worked among students at the University of New Mexico although they did not hold formal meetings on the campus. He stated he did not know whether or not appointee was connected with this group. He stated, however, that he knew — of no subversive elements that were connected with the group and always con- sidered that they were pacifidts who did not believe in war or fighting in any manner whatsoever. tated that he really had no information that reflec yalty of appointee to the United States.
