PROGRESSIVE PARTY (PP)
The National Committee, Communist Party, USA (CP),
in issuing its final text of the "Resolution Growing Out
of the Presidential Elections" in "Political Affairs," issue
of July, 1953, states in substance that in 1948 the CP

Concerning "Political Affairs’ mentioned above,
ELIZABETH GURLEY FLYNN, a convicted CP functionary,
testifying in the case "US vs Elizabeth Gurley Flynn et al,"
on October 20, 1952, stated that "Political Affairs” has
been the theoretical organ of the CP since the
publication's beginning in 1945,
