Washington advised he had been contacted by c
of Vancouver, Washington and he displayed a colored photograph
he had taken at Mount St. Helens in the fall of 1976. He said he
viewed the picture and from the distorted background images it
appeared that a body lay.on the ground. He said _based on that
a search was made of. the area photographed by He said
nothing was located in the area directed to by and that
declared he was seeking "bigfoot" and would drive into
the mountains and pan an area with a movie camera, He said after
the movie iwas processed, would look at it through a view
finder, frame by frame and when he saw something that might look
like %Bigfoot" he would photograph thé frame which was enlarged
and this was the manner in which he said he obtained the picture,

Vancouver, Washingtonias intérvtTéwed and hevsaid the aréa he was 7°
photographing was located high in the St Helens range. He said
he was not able to recall any ofder at the time he made his
picture in the fall of 1976.
It is of,the opinion of the writer that the picture submitted
to the Bureau’'as well as furnished to the Skamania County S.0. is
not that of any body but an image distorted by light, and enlarge-
ment that Zave the possible appearance of a body. This area is too
far for UNSUB in the NORJAK flight to have drifted from LaCenter,
Washington.
