We periodically receive inquiries from
citizens concerning the $5,000 reward offered by the
"Seattle Post-—Intelligencer" for the arrest and con-
viction of D. B. Cooper. With the anniversary date
of the Cooper hijacking approaching us in November,
we would like to verify whether or not your reward for
the arrest and conviction of Cooper is still outstand-
ing, so that we can correctly answer any inquiries
received by the field offices of the FBI.
