toward Sardine Foint, past the first dog-leg curve, which is b7C
about a mile from this point, up to the second dog-leg, which
is probably ahout two miles from this point on the Lemon Canyon
Road.
[noted that he went from the top portion be
of this second doq-leg road down to the road below, which he bIC
estimated to he mayhe 200-400 yards across. The parachute
was located under a snag tree, about 18 inches in diameter,
over the ton of another log, causing it to he ahout six inches
off the ground. The parachute was under this nortion and had
it have heen pushed back two feet further, would have been out
of view. He also noted that these logs were about halfway
hetween the upper road and the lower road or about_190-200
yards from each road, the upper and lover roads. [id

located,[ ——Céidi tO MESS Ogee, ome being a yellow
pine and the other a real bigq juniper tree, on the hill. He
said in looking up the one tree, he noted that near the top,
about 65 feet up, was evidence that a lLimh, approximately
one and one half inches in diameter, had been broken off.
Relow this, approximately 10 feet, he noted another limh,
