Re Portlandletter to Seattle dated 12/5/73.
Referenced communication enclosed for Seattle
a nylon cord found near Mount Hood, Washington, 19/73.
The above described nylon cord was chown to FARL
COSSEY, the former owner of the parachute supplied to UNSTIR
in this matter.
COSSEY stated after viewing the nylon cords that
they were steering devices for steerable parachutes.
COSSEY further stated that the parachutes supplied to UNSTIB
were of a non-steerable variety and therefore, had no
steering devices whatever.
