teYephonicatliy cont Headquarters and advised that
the early morning of LC —_ he was visiting the
Lamond K Bar in Asotin when he was approached by an a
individual who identified himself as D. Be. Cooper. * This
individual was in the company of a blond white woman who
apparently was known by the bartender of that bar. He said
this individual bore a’ good likeness to the unknown subject
of ;jthis case whose photograph he had seen in the Post Office.
Shortly after he left this bar he observed a
or Lincoln convertible bearing Idaho license

nor near this automobile.

and did not wish his name connected with any investigation that
may be conducted and further declined to furnish his address or
telephone number.
Seattle contact bartender at Diamond K Bar, Asotin,
Washington, in an effort to resolve this matter. Butte
ascertain owner of Idaho license referred to above and conduct
necessary investigation to determine if he is identical with the
unknown subject in this case.
