2. In connection with the examination conducted
by the Laboratory 4/28/72, to determine the authenticity
of three $20 bills, the Seattle Office marked the location
of those bills on the film with a small piece of adhesive
paper provided by the Federal Reserve Bank, whose machine
was used to review the film. It is now noted that these
pieces of paper (3), are difficult to remove and some of
the adhesive remains when the paper is taken off.
The Bureau is therefore requested, while the film
is at the Laboratory, to endeavor to ramove these three
markers from the film. If it is felt necessary that the
‘locations of those bills should be made on the film, the
Laboratory might place a marker on the left side of the
film where it does not cover ‘the bill. ;
A. sample of the adhesive paper is being furnished
‘with the film so that the iaboratory might know the type of
adhesive on this paper.
