He advised that they had received approval to go ahead c
with the search and to "clean it up" by the 2ist. He
fowased that details should be worked out directly with

using the same troops they had previously used and they
would move the advance group this afternoon with the
rest of the troops following tomorrow morning. He expected
that they would be in a position to start searching at
1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.
XI specifically asked him if they had authority
to go north and south of the river and he said they were
going “to try to clean it up" but they had to have the
troops out of there by 4/21/72.

I called Supervisor HENRY SHUTZ at the Bureau
id him the situation. He said he would advise
of the Administrative Division and for us to send b6
